Student Life programs and activities exist to advance the mission of CCS while working to promote a sense of community and unity amongst students, faculty, and families. Students are encouraged to build relationships, to develop a strong work ethic and sense of responsibility, to provide opportunities for personal development and a desire to use their God given talents and interests for His purposes.
The Student Government at CCS is a group of students elected by their peers who help to foster school pride, establish traditions, and unify the student body. Through the student government council, student activities are planned including social gatherings and service opportunities. Students may also bring concerns or requests pertaining to school life to the faculty and administration through the student council.

“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” - 1 Timothy 4:12
One of the most exciting aspects for Covenant Classical students are the frequent opportunity to participate in class trips. Our students enhance their classroom learning by traveling to areas that complement their curriculum.
Community Service and Missions
At CCS we aim to instill an attitude of servanthood through helping others in our community and around the world. Through service projects and missions, students can learn to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Our students have participated in a multitude of external service projects and programs including:
Partnered with Birthday Blessings at the Mother & Children’s Home
Collected small gifts and toiletries for Operation Christmas Child, packed shoeboxes, and volunteered at the local Distribution Center
Adopted 3 local families to provide clothing and toys at Christmas
Made Valentine cards for a local nursing home
Wrote letters to soldiers through Operation Gratitude
Collected diapers for the Crisis Pregnancy Center
Volunteered at the Spring Games for Special Olympics
Assembled rice packet meals for families in Haiti
"And the King will answer them, Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me." - Matt. 25:40
With the desire to bring awareness and intentionality of focus to Covenant Classical School’s core values, the CCS House System was established. The CCS House System provides leadership opportunities for our Upper School students. Each of the three distinct houses (Fides, Sapientia, and Audacia) is run by a House Captain and two prefects who encourage involvement in community service, academics, athletics, and CCS social events. Giving incentives for excellence in academics and character, the House system is also intended to be a fun exercise and expression of school spirit.
"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward." - Col. 3:23-24
