The Davis family has been a part of Covenant Classical School since 2006. Beverly and her husband Steven have three daughters, Erin (11th grade), Jordan (9th grade), and Taylor (5th grade). Beverly currently works for Wells Fargo. She is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Mathematics Education. She taught middle school math in public schools for six years prior to joining Wells Fargo. She was also a coach and an athletic trainer while she was teaching. The Davis family attends Concord First Assembly.
The DiMarzio family has been a part of Covenant Classical School since 2013. Jerett and his wife Carrie have two children, one of which is currently at CCS, Meredith (CCS class of 2022) and Morgan, who attends Lake Norman Charter School. Jerett is a Certified Financial Planner™ Practitioner and Wealth Advisor by trade and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Bachelor of the Arts in Psychology from Kent State University. Jerett considers himself an amateur chef and enjoys playing many sports as well as competing in Spartan races when he isn't watching his wife Carrie coach Meredith's CCS basketball team. The DiMarzio's attend Mecklenburg Community Church.
Chairman The Gann's have been a part of Covenant Classical School for six years. Brylan and his wife Cindy have three children, Braeden (CCS class of 2017), Sawyer (9th grade), and Caimbree (7th grade). Brylan is the Managing Partner of Paragon Revenue Group. His educational accomplishments include a Bachelor’s Degree from Montreat College in 1991. He is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Apologetics and Theology from Liberty University. The Gann's attend Life Fellowship Church in Davidson, NC.
The Gantz Family joined Covenant Classical School in 2013. Ashton and her husband have 3 daughters, two of which are currently at CCS. Abigail attends NCSU, Chloe is in 12th grade and Sophie is in 7th grade. Ashton holds an Elementary Education degree from UNCC and taught several years in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. She is currently in her 8th year as the Administrative Director at Open Water Adventures Swim School. Ashton and her family have also actively attended Mecklenburg Community Church for 15 years where they volunteer in the youth groups and teach classes in their Meck Institute.
The Hills have been a part of Covenant Classical School since 2014. Chris and his wife Aleece have two children at CCS, Finley is in 2nd grade and Caroline is in Kindergarten. They also have a baby at home. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from Wake Forest University. He is currently a Corporate Banker at BB&T. The Hills attend Charity Baptist Church.
Karen Kern taught 3rd grade at CCS from 2004-2016, served as Dean of the Grammar School for four years, and is truly a beloved educator in the community. Prior to life at CCS, she homeschooled her five children, four of whom have graduated from Covenant: David, Matthew, Katie, and Larissa. She has been involved in Classical Education since the early 1990’s, and her husband, Andrew Kern, founder of the Circe Institute, helped launch classical schools in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and Boise, Idaho. Karen received a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Toronto and a B.Ed. in Elementary Education from the University of Windsor. Currently, she serves with her husband, Andrew, in the pursuits of the Circe Institute, a local Christian and Classical organization dedicated to the mission of being a leading provider of inspiration, information, and insight to classical educators throughout the U.S. and Canada.
The LeJeunes have been part of CCS since 2013. Russ and his wife Jill have four boys, Ian (4th grade), Ryan (2nd grade), Dylan (age 3) and Nathan (age 2). Russ received a B.S.E. in Computer Science & Engineering and an M.B.A. in Marketing from The University of Connecticut and currently works as a senior product manager for American City Business Journals, a print and digital media company based in uptown Charlotte. Russ enjoys reading, photography and music. Over the years Russ has volunteered with the CCS Fall Festival, Book Fair and Gala committees and is honored to serve on the school board. He hopes to make an impact through his experience in technology and marketing and his passion for classical education. The LeJeunes attend Renaissance Bible Church in Concord, NC.
Secretary Patricia Propst has been part of the Covenant Classical School family since 2003. She is married to Tim Propst, and they have two sons, Jackson (CCS class of 2016) and Harrison (12th grade). Both sons began their education at CCS in Kindergarten. Tim Propst is a native of Concord, and Patricia is native to the Charlotte area. Patricia graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in Accounting and is a Vice President with Wray Ward, a creative marketing communications firm located in Charlotte, NC, where she oversees all financial matters and operations, including human resources. Tim and Patricia have served on the CCS Advancement Committee (2007-2010) and have participated in the CCS soccer and basketball programs over the past few years. The Propst's are members of Crossroads Methodist Church.
