Meet Our Faculty & Staff

Joshua Leland

Mr. Joshua Leland received his BA and MA from UNC Charlotte, where he met his wife in a literature class. He began teaching at Covenant in 2012, and since then has taught a variety of courses in the humanities.

Some of his personal academic interests include mythology, cosmology, poetry, philosophy, history, and rhetoric.

He and his wife have 4 children, and when he has time for it Mr. Leland enjoys calligraphy, songwriting, and composting in his backyard.

His favorite thing about teaching at CCS is developing relationships with both students and faculty, and the thrill of working with students who share an excitement for thinking and learning.
